Each CIC specializes in specific materials and applications, such as fiber, polymer or medical & pharmaceutical. We carry out targeted tests for and with you to achieve well-founded results that can significantly shorten your path to series production.

Three technologies,
one location
At our headquarters in Freilassing we combine machine competence, toolmaking and process expertise. Here you will work directly on appropriate series systems, such as the NATUREFORMER for fiber cups, KMD/KTR for polymer packaging or the welding technology for medical bags. All three CIC areas offer proofs of concept, upscaling, automation and training.
A focus on Polymer packaging
The Netherlands CIC focuses on innovative material combinations. We are supported by strong partners along the value chain. Here you will find ideal test conditions for coffee capsules, trays and lids, and more. Together we test barrier properties, compostability, sealing behavior and design solutions.
Machine tests, material tests & training
The Brückner Group USA CIC is fully equipped for thermoforming, fiber forming, lamination and RF welding. Here we carry out material tests, customer demonstrations, process optimizations and tool tests, KMD 78.2, KTR 5.2, KFT 90.1 & medical machines, among others.
In addition, we offer structured training programs on polymer and fiber processes, including certificates.

Tool Configurator
The Kiefel tool configurator lets you calculate your ideal tool system in just a few clicks for over 40 common thermoforming machines. Determine product weight, material thickness, cavity layout and material requirements based on machine type, material properties, product geometry and stacking system.
The tool helps you optimize your extrusion, save material and increase output.
