Kiefel opens Customer Innovation Center for Asia-Pacific in Rayong
On January 29, 2026, Kiefel celebrated the official opening of its Customer Innovation Center (CIC) Asia-Pacific at the Brueckner Group Asia-Pacific site in Rayong, Thailand. The facility places a new focus on customer-oriented development and process validation in the Asia-Pacific market.
The new CIC focuses on real-world machine and process applications that enable customers to conduct product and tool tests under near-series conditions. Visitors can experience live demonstrations on machines such as the SPEEDFORMER KMD 78 Smart, as well as applications for thermoforming PET and natural fiber solutions.
The opening of the CIC Asia-Pacific is in line with Kiefel's global strategy of bringing production and development resources closer to the regional requirements of its customers in the ASEAN region and intensifying cooperation throughout the development process. At the same time, the center uses state-of-the-art equipment and digital tools to increase efficiency of product equipment on site.
With the new innovation center, Kiefel is expanding its international network and creating additional capacity for demonstrations, prototype development, and technical training - a step that offers customers in the region direct access to Kiefel technologies and paves the way for further partnerships.
