Kiefel, a global leader in thermoforming and joining technologies for polymer and fiber-based packaging, officially opened its new Customer Innovation Center (CIC) last week at the Brückner Group Asia-Pacific site in Rayong, Thailand. The modern technology hub significantly expands Kiefel’s presence in Southeast Asia and Oceania, offering more than just service: from traditional support like tool maintenance to development projects, feasibility studies, process and machine testing, and live demonstrations – all on-site.

Hands-on Polymer and Fiber Thermoforming Technology

Equipped with state-of-the-art thermoforming machines for polymer and fiber-based products – including a SPEEDFORMER KMD 78 Smart and a NATUREFORMER KFT Lab – the CIC, covering approximately 350 square meters, offers ideal conditions for hands-on technology and product development. "With this new center, we’re delivering clear added value to our customers in Southeast Asia: local proximity, personal support, and direct access to our global technology expertise – all under one roof," emphasizes Matthias Sieverding, CEO of Kiefel.

The CIC is a milestone for the regional packaging industry. Visitors don’t just experience technology here – they see real applications that address production challenges, from faster time-to-market to sustainable material solutions.

Global Excellence, Locally Delivered

The CIC is part of Kiefel’s strategy to combine global engineering excellence with strong regional presence. Customers benefit from a broader range of local services – from co-development and prototyping to customized test runs – all supported by local experts and modern infrastructure.
During the opening event, attendees gained insights into selected applications, including live thermoforming demos with polymer and fiber materials, digital control systems, and service innovations.

Made by Kiefel” now also stands for technological excellence, collaborative partnership, and future-ready solutions in Thailand.
