Digital technologies take center stage at the Kiefel booth in Hall 3, Stand D90. We will showcase how interfaces and data processing increase machine availability and efficiency – both today and in the future.
Structured data with real value
At the running SPEEDFORMER KTR 6.2, we demonstrate how production and performance data are processed and structured via the standardized OPC UA interface. Customers can choose from preconfigured data packages exactly the information they need for their processes – from energy consumption and cycle times to production volumes.
With the OPC UA interface, we make machine data accessible independently from the control system. We organize, structure, and provide the data so that it can be integrated into ERP or data management systems. This creates transparency and opens up new opportunities to increase manufacturing efficiency.
A look ahead at future data processing
Using a practical example, we demonstrate the wide range of machine data provided by Kiefel via the OPC UA interface. It illustrates how customers can flexibly connect and individually process their machine data.
The data enables evaluations such as energy consumption per 1,000 parts, film usage, or machine availability – creating a transparent foundation for process optimization. This allows efficiency potentials to be identified, root causes of errors to be detected more quickly, and production processes to be improved in the long term.
Together with our customers, we aim to determine which data deliver the greatest value in daily production. This collaboration results in practical and future-oriented solutions.
