The new thermoforming machine boosts capacity and flexibility for food packaging in the MENA region
Kiefel has commissioned another SPEEDFORMER KMD 78 Smart at EL KEKHIA PLASTIC. The Egyptian packaging manufacturer is now producing a wide range of food packaging at its Cairo site – faster, more efficiently, and from a broader choice of materials.
More efficiency in production
The KMD 78 Smart enables EL KEKHIA PLASTIC to produce visually appealing clamshells and punnets for fresh fruit and vegetables as well as PET egg cartons. Thanks to high output and short tool changeover times, the company can now serve its customers in Egypt and across the MENA region even more reliably. The new system also supports the use of recycled materials and sustainable raw materials such as PET.
