Vacuum unit

Optimized energy consumption due to improved cooling water circuit and innovative Kiefel Steam Flow Technology.

Molding

Parts are formed with leightweight suction tool for optimal material distribution and easy tool change.

The mixture of water and fibers is sucked in via vacuum. A filter separates the two substances from each other.

Pre-Pressing

Innovative cold prepressing step ensures lowest energy consumption on the market and inproves productivity.

The natural fibers are further dehydrated by mechanical pressing and forming. The product is pre-formed.

Hot-Pressing

Final product is formed using high pressing forces and heat to achive highest product and surface qualities.

Application of heat and pressure refines contours and further reduces residual moisture.

Trimming

Space saving inline trimming station garantees optimal product edges within one thermoformer.

The final shape is achieved with high precision trimming.

Quality control & automation systems

Additional modules for quality inspection (e.g. camera surveillance, sleeving or boxing) are available on demand.

Fruit trays

The NATUREFORMER KFT 90.1 produces stackable, moisture-resistant fruit trays made from fresh fiber. Thanks to the AKD additive, they remain stable, while ventilation holes ensure optimal cooling air circulation. Sealable edges allow for film sealing and individual branding.

MAP trays (Modified Atmosphere Packaging)

NATUREFORMER KFT 90.1 MAP trays for meat packaging are stackable (and can be unstacked), have sealable edges for film sealing, and are made from sustainable cellulose. For products that require even longer-lasting freshness, we offer an optional machine module that laminates the trays.

Coffee capsules

Coffee capsules produced on the NATUREFORMER KFT 90.1, made from sustainable materials such as cellulose, are stackable and have sealable edges. The capsule barriers effectively stop fat, water and oxygen (OTR) to preserve the full coffee flavor.

Industrial packaging

The proven system for the series production of fiber-based packaging such as lids, coffee capsules, trays, cups, plant pots, etc. is available with an optional integrated inline punching station for precise cutting of the products. It is designed for high production capacity. The machine offers a 15% larger molding area for higher output and enables quick tool changes.
