For several years now, the Indian packaging industry has experienced an enormous boost. Due to the rising demand for consumer goods and food, especially in the Asian food industry, a continuously increasing demand in packaging material can be noted.
This development becomes particularly apparent at this year’s PLASTINDIA exhibition booth of the KIEFEL GmbH. At the exhibition, the Indian customers’ interest is mainly directed at Kiefel’s pressure former series KMD SPEEDFORMER and KTR SPEED. Thanks to optimized dimensions, not just the productivity but also the cost-efficiency of the packaging machines can be maximized.
Whilst the fields of application of the KMD SPEEDFORMER series range from trays, containers and hinged packaging up to blister packs, tub lids and sorting elements, the Cup Forming Machines of KTR SPEED series combine perfect technology and product quality with high production rates and lowest costs for yogurt and drinking cups, cups for use with snap-on lids or plant-pots.
Furthermore, the pharmaceutical sector has great future potential for Kiefel because technologies with the seal of quality “Made in Germany” are continuously highly in demand. As a result, especially Kiefel’s innovative manufacturing solutions for producing infusion bags with integrated filling are convincing.
Besides the high machine quality, together with the subsidiaries Bosch Sprang and Mould & Matic, Kiefel provides its customers a unique overall solution which ranges from material and product development and sample production up to test runs and final installation of complete production lines. Once again, this special support excited customers at the PLASTINDIA.
