Major project for refrigerator production successfully completed
19 Dec 2012
With the delivery and commissioning of 4 systems for the production of refrigerator inner liners, the Freilassing company Kiefel has successfully completed a major project.
The delivery comprised 4 thermoforming machines, supplied to a renowned German refrigerator manufacturer.
Kiefel has enjoyed success with compressed air forming and vacuum forming machines for the production of interior refrigerator parts for many years. So-called inner liners and the insides of doors are shaped from plastic on Kiefel systems and produced ready for installation. In the last 3 years alone, Kiefel has delivered and commissioned over 30 forming machines for refrigerator parts around the world. The company counts manufacturers who place value on high efficiency in production and the top quality of their products amongst its customers.
Kiefel naturally maintains a global distribution and service network, in order to ensure that it meets with the requirements of the household appliance industry. It also has its own branches in important and growing markets such as the USA, China, Russia, India, Indonesia and Brazil.
